NEW NAD+ PROTOCOL
Combined Protocol (IV + IM/SC)
A very popular clinical structure:
Phase 1 – NAD+ Loading
- 250–500mg IV
- 1–2× weekly × 2–4 weeks
- PLUS 100–200mg SC on non-IV days (loading dose)
Phase 2 – Stabilisation
- 500–750mg IV every 2–4 weeks
- OR 150–250mg IM weekly (stabilisation dose)
Phase 3 – Maintenance
- Monthly IV or weekly IM
Contraindications & Precautions
❌ Pregnancy & breastfeeding
❌ Severe anxiety disorder (relative – may worsen during infusion)
❌ Uncontrolled hypertension
❌ Active infection
❌ Severe liver or renal dysfunction
❌ Acute migraines during infusion season
Caution
- SSRIs, SNRIs, antipsychotics → monitor for overstimulation
- Beta-blockers → may mask physiological response
- Thyroid disorders → NAD+ may alter energy perception
Side Effects
Usually rate-dependent:
- Nausea
- Chest tightness
- Head pressure
- Tingling
- GI discomfort
- Warmth/flushing
- Anxiety or "wired" sensation
- Fatigue post infusion (rare)
Manage by slowing rate — symptoms disappear in minutes - keep rate slow
