WEIGHT LOSS - SD Shot METHIONINE/L-CARNATINE/INOSITOL/CHOLINE

Product Information (per 1 mL)

  • L-Carnitine: 50 mg
  • Choline Chloride: 50 mg
  • Inositol: 50 mg
  • Methionine: 25 mg
  • Methylcobalamin (B12): 0.5 mg (500 mcg)

Vial size: 5 mL (total contents = 250 mg Carnitine, 250 mg Choline, 250 mg Inositol, 125 mg Methionine, 2.5 mg Methylcobalamin)

Route: IV infusion (diluted) or IM injection (small volume only)

Dosage Ranges

  • Typical dose per drip: 1–2 mL (≈175–350 mg combined actives)
  • Moderate dose: 3–4 mL (≈525–700 mg actives)
  • Maximum (full vial): 5 mL (≈875 mg actives + 2.5 mg B12) — generally not needed in wellness unless specifically prescribed

Administration:

  • Dilute into 250–500 mL carrier fluid (0.9% NaCl, Hartmann's, or CSL)
  • Infuse over 30–60 minutes
  • Frequency: weekly to fortnightly depending on client needs

Safety & Precautions

  • Well tolerated when diluted and infused slowly
  • Rapid push of choline or methionine may cause nausea or flushing → always dilute
  • Carnitine: mild side effects possible (fishy body odour, rare GI upset)
  • Methionine: avoid high cumulative dosing in patients with severe liver disease unless prescribed
  • Methylcobalamin: safe, but may cause pink urine after infusion
  • Always check renal & hepatic function if regular/repeated dosing
  • Avoid stacking with other high-dose methylation agents without practitioner oversight
