Drug: Taurine (amino sulfonic acid)

Vial size: 10 mL (total = 500 mg taurine)
Route: IV infusion (diluted; not for undiluted IV push)
Dosage Ranges
- Standard dose: 250–500 mg IV (≈5–10 mL of 50 mg/mL solution)
- High dose: up to 1000 mg IV (20 mL, if concentrated stock available or compounded)
- Dilution: Add to 250–500 mL carrier fluid (0.9% NaCl, Hartmann's, or CSL)
- Infusion time: 30–60 minutes
- Frequency: weekly to fortnightly
