IV Wellness Practice (adjunct amino acid):
- Dose range: 100–500 mg IV per drip
- Equivalent to: 2–10 mL of 50 mg/mL solution

- Frequency: fortnightly depending on client needs
Clinical / Wellness Benefits

- Metabolic health: may improve insulin sensitivity and support energy metabolism
Safety & Precautions
- Generally well tolerated in IV nutrition settings
- Mild side effects (rare): nausea, lightheadedness if infused too quickly
- Avoid very rapid IV push — always dilute
- Caution in renal impairment (amino acid clearance may be reduced)
