ATHLETE - GB Shot ARGININE/GLUTAMINE/LYSINE/ORNITHINE

GB SHOT (Amino Acid Blend)

Product Information

Drug mixture (per 1 mL):

  • Arginine: 100 mg
  • Glutamine: 30 mg
  • Lysine: 100 mg
  • Ornithine: 50 mg

Concentration: 280 mg total amino acids per 1 mL

Vial size: 10 mL (total = 2800 mg amino acids)

Route: IV infusion (diluted; not for undiluted IV push)

Dosage Ranges: (performance / detox / recovery):

  • Dose range: 1–5 mL (≈280–1400 mg amino acids) per drip
  • High dose: up to 10 mL (2800 mg total), but usually not needed in wellness practice
  • Dilution: add to 250–500 mL carrier fluid (0.9% NaCl, CSL, or Hartmann's)
  • Infusion time: 30–60 minutes
  • Frequency: weekly to fortnightly, depending on goals (energy, metabolism, recovery)

Clinical / Wellness Benefits

  • Arginine (100 mg/mL): vasodilation, nitric oxide production → circulation, exercise performance
  • Glutamine (30 mg/mL): gut integrity, immune support, recovery, antioxidant precursor
  • Lysine (100 mg/mL): collagen synthesis, immunity, antiviral support (HSV prevention)
  • Ornithine (50 mg/mL): urea cycle, ammonia clearance, supports detoxification & fatigue reduction
  • Synergy: often used in metabolism, muscle recovery, "performance" or "detox" style drips

Safety & Precautions

  • Generally safe when diluted and infused slowly
  • Arginine may cause hypotension or flushing if pushed too quickly
  • Glutamine usually well tolerated, but caution in severe liver disease
  • Ornithine/Lysine may cause mild GI upset orally; IV use rarely problematic when diluted
  • Avoid in renal/hepatic failure without specialist oversight
  • Always record baseline renal/liver function if used regularly
