# B COMPLEX PLUS (B1/B2/B3/B5/B6) + (B12)

## Vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamin):

- **Methylcobalamin:** 1,000–5,000 mcg IV
- Can be given as:
- Added into drip with B Complex (when purchased together)
- Or slow IV push diluted in saline (separately)

## B COMPLEX PLUS

Has added B6 (Pyridoxine) & B12 (Methylcobalamin)

## Infusion Protocol

- Dilute into 250–500 mL carrier fluid (0.9% Normal Saline or Hartmann's).
- Infuse over 30–60 minutes.
- **Frequency:** weekly to fortnightly depending on clinical goals.

## Safety & Notes

- Avoid repeated high-dose pyridoxine (B6) as it can cause neuropathy with chronic overuse.
- Always ensure doctor prescription, pharmacy-compounding, and TGA compliance.
- Obtain baseline bloods (B12, folate, homocysteine, CBC, renal/liver function) if doing regular therapy.
